Borussia Dortmund achieved a significant victory over Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 4-2 in the match that brought the two teams together in the 33rd round of the German league.

With this victory, Borussia Dortmund raised its tally to 54 points, sitting in fifth place in the German league table, while Bayer Leverkusen remained at 68 points in second place.
