The Italian club Napoli has made an official offer for Canadian striker Jonathan David from French team Lille, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The southern club hopes that the player will agree to join them in a free transfer, as his contract with Lille is set to expire this summer.
By signing David, Napoli aims to effectively replace Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who is expected to be sold permanently after spending this season on loan with Galatasaray.
