Al Ahly Close to Signing Amr El Gazzar in Preparation for the World Cup
Ahmed Shobair, the former star of Al Ahly, revealed that the management of the club is close to signing a new deal in preparation for the 2025 Club World Cup.
He stated in television remarks: "There is a new potential signing for Al Ahly, which is Amr El Gazzar, the defender from Ghazl El Mahalla. From the beginning, the scouting committee at Al Ahly recommended the player."
He added: "But the coaching staff has not yet finalized their decision on the player, and Al Ahly wants to strengthen the team with as many signings as possible for the Club World Cup."
Al Ahly's group in the Club World Cup includes: FC Porto from Portugal, Palmeiras from Brazil, and Inter Miami from the USA.
