Bayern Munich Targets Jonathan Tah
Saturday 10-05-2025
Bayern Munich has begun serious moves to sign German defender Jonathan Tah, a player from Bayer Leverkusen, during the upcoming summer transfer window, as part of the club's plan to bolster the defense in preparation for the new season.

According to what was revealed by "Sky Sports", the Bavarian club's management has already opened negotiations with Tah, whose contract expires in the summer, taking advantage of the imminent departure of defender Eric Dier to French club Monaco.

Jonathan Tah is attracting significant interest from several European clubs, most notably Real Madrid, where his current coach Xabi Alonso wants to take him to the royal club after announcing his departure from Leverkusen at the end of the season.

Barcelona has also entered the negotiations, but the financial crisis and the restrictions related to financial fair play may hinder the deal.

Tah joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 from Hamburg for 9.5 million euros, and since then he has played 400 official matches with the team, scoring 18 goals and providing 13 assists.

In the 2024/2025 season, Tah participated in 47 matches across various competitions, totaling 4219 minutes of play, during which he scored 4 goals and assisted 1 goal, and received 5 yellow cards.
