According to sources, El Khatib met with some members of the club's football company to discuss the new coach file and to secure financial liquidity to bring in a strong coach.
Al Ahly aims to raise the financial ceiling to bring in a foreign coach, and there are names the club was considering negotiating with, but some demands reached 8 million euros annually (650,000 euros monthly).
