Haider Obaid: We are experiencing an excellent period and will fight to maintain our lead against Diyala

In a special talk before the anticipated match against Diyala, Al-Zawraa coach Haider Obaid expressed his satisfaction with what the team has been delivering in recent rounds, confirming that continuing at the same pace will bring Al-Zawraa closer to achieving its goals this season.

He said: "The team is going through a good period in terms of performance and results, and the players have done their part in the previous matches, but this does not mean we guarantee anything, as every match requires high concentration and special handling."

He clarified: "Diyala is a team that has developed a lot in the recent phase, and its results prove that, so we must be at the highest levels of discipline and technical and mental readiness."

He pointed out: "We have elements capable of making a difference, but we must respect the opponent and enter with full concentration from the first minute until the final whistle."

He concluded: "We have a clear goal, which is to maintain our position at the top of the standings, and we will fight in every match to achieve that, and I have great confidence in all the players and the coaching staff."
