Al-Hilal achieved a resounding victory over their hosts Al-Raed with a score of 5-2, in a match held on Wednesday evening, as part of the final round (30th) of the Saudi Roshan Professional League.

Al-Hilal entered the match under the guidance of their interim coach Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, who took over after the dismissal of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus following the team's exit from the Asian competition and the dwindling chances of local competition.

The leader opened the scoring through their striker Alexander Mitrovic in the 32nd minute, before Salem Al-Dosari doubled the score with a second goal in the 42nd minute, confirming a strong start for Al-Hilal in the first half.

Just before the end of the half, Karim Al-Barkaoui reduced the deficit for Al-Raed with a goal in the 45+3 minute, giving the home side some hope before entering the second half of the match.

Al-Hilal continued their pressure in the second half, with Salem Al-Dosari scoring the third goal in the 58th minute, while Brazilian Malcom added the fourth in the 67th minute amid a defensive collapse from Al-Raed.

Al-Barkaoui responded with a quick second personal goal in the 68th minute, but Al-Dosari returned to complete his personal hat-trick, scoring the fifth goal for Al-Hilal in the 78th minute.

Meanwhile, the newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" revealed that Al-Raed star Karim Al-Barkaoui has finalized his agreement with Egyptian club Zamalek, officially transferring to their ranks starting from the next season.
