Criticism Hits Ronald Araujo
Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo faced harsh criticism following the loss yesterday against Inter (4-3) in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
Araujo came on as a substitute in yesterday's match instead of Inigo Martinez, who suffered from physical issues, in the 76th minute.
The Catalan fans believe that Araujo did not defend well during the equalizing goal scored by Francesco Acerbi in the 90+3 minute, as well as during the fourth goal scored by David Frattesi in the 99th minute.
The Uruguayan defender received severe criticism from fans through his official Instagram account, prompting him to disable the comments feature and delete over 700 offensive comments on the same post.
