Sanctions Imposed on Al-Ahli Due to Al-Ittihad
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation has decided to impose sanctions on Al-Ahli due to the events of the Al-Ittihad match in the Roshn League.
Al-Ittihad drew with Al-Ahli 2-2 in a match held on April 5th in the 26th round of the Saudi League.
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee decided to fine Al-Ahli 50,000 Riyals for 'not adhering to the approved tifos design, and violating organizational and operational regulations against Al-Ittihad.'
Additionally, the president of Al-Ahli's fan association, Badr Turkistani, was fined 40,000 Saudi Riyals for insulting match officials.
