In a new development that increases the concern of Saudi clubs, Al-Fateh Club announced that its player Suhaib Al-Zaid has joined the list of players injured with an ACL tear during the ongoing Roshan League season, bringing the total number of injured players to nine.

The club confirmed through its official account on the "X" platform that medical examinations revealed Suhaib's complete rupture of the ACL, necessitating surgical intervention that he will undergo in the coming days.

The young player suffered the painful injury while participating in the team’s group training two days ago, where he was forced to leave the training session after feeling severe pain and being unable to continue the training session.

With Suhaib's injury, clubs' fears are increasing about the recurrence of this type of injury, which has become a concerning phenomenon this season, amid questions about the causes of this health crisis that has affected several of the league's top stars.

The list of players with ACL tears in the Roshan League so far includes: Sami Al-Najai (Al-Nassr), Mohammed Fawzi (Al-Raed), Hussein Al-Sabiani and Kim Seong-joo (Al-Shabab), Nawaf Al-Azizi (Al-Wahda), Abdul Basit Hawsawi (Dhamak), Salman Al-Faraj (Neom), Haitham Asiri (Al-Qadisiyah), and finally Suhaib Al-Zaid (Al-Fateh).
