Former Al Ahly Star Attacks Koller
Sherif Abdel Moneim, the former Al Ahly star, attacked Marcel Koller, the former head coach of Al Ahly, due to his treatment of some players before his departure.
Koller left his position as the head coach of Al Ahly due to poor results.
Sherif said via "On Sport FM": "During Koller’s time? The players were in prison, I was shackled."
He added: "Koller didn’t like a certain player and wasn’t convinced by him; he had shackles on the players' legs, and he was drawing a path to the end of their careers like Afsha and El-Sulya. He only had Imam Ashour and Taher Mohamed Taher, and the rest if they didn’t find themselves, that’s it."
He continued: "The current coaching staff makes me hopeful that they will continue in the Club World Cup because they are the closest to the players that are present, but imagine if a new staff came with a new concept?!"
