Ahmad Shoubir, the former Al Ahly star, criticized the red fans due to the issue of the new coach for the club.

Shoubir said in radio statements: "Al Ahly's victory over Haras El Hodood with a score of 5-0 created a buzz among the Al Ahly fans, a nice match, good performance, it created a buzz among the fans."
He continued: "Some people started saying Captain Emad Nassar should continue, why shouldn't he continue? No, he should continue, some said no, we want a foreign coach, you can't tell me that after winning two matches."
He concluded: "I don't understand if you want Emad to continue or if you want a foreign coach? The story must have its own discussion and weight."
