Bayern Munich Renew Interest in Chelsea Player
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that French player Christopher Nkunku is close to leaving Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Romano pointed out that the player has not had his full opportunity with the Blues due to recurring injuries, in addition to the brilliance of star Cole Palmer, who has become the first choice in his position.
He explained that Nkunku was very close to leaving Chelsea last January after positive talks with Bayern Munich, but the negotiations were not completed, noting that the Bavarian club is preparing to return again to try to sign him in the summer, amid the player's desire to embark on a new experience.
Bayern Munich is considered one of the main clubs interested in signing Nkunku, as the team looks to strengthen its attack before the start of the new season.
