A Roadmap to Rescue Al-Nassr from Its Setback and Return to the Podium
Sports journalist Abdulrahman Al-Furaih presented his vision for restoring Al-Nassr to its former glory, following a season marked by a noticeable decline in performance and results at various levels.
Al-Furaih offered five key proposals that he believes are essential to rescue the team from its crisis and to form a new phase of discipline and technical and administrative development within the club.
He emphasized the necessity of the resignation of Raed Ismail, Guido, and Hierro, along with all their staff members, in addition to terminating Omar Hawsawi's role as the football director.
He also called for attracting a Saudi sports director and a football director who possess strong leadership qualities and charisma to manage the locker room and enforce discipline among everyone.
Al-Furaih demanded the termination of coach Pioli's contract and the hiring of a world-class coach as soon as possible, aiming for early preparation for the new season and identifying the team's technical needs.
He pointed out the importance of getting rid of the contracts of some players who have not provided the required contribution, such as Al-Najjar, Gharib, Al-Hassan, Al-Sulayyem, Fattail, Al-Ghanam, and Al-Khaibari.
He concluded his proposals by stressing the necessity of granting the new coach full authority to evaluate foreign professionals, to determine who should be retained or released based on accurate assessment.
