Haider Ubaid: We did not provide the required level today and we must review ourselves

The coach of Al-Zawraa Club, Haider Ubaid, expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance his team delivered during the match against Zakho, which ended in a goalless draw, confirming that the team was not at its best and that there are matters that need to be addressed quickly.

He said: "We did not show the level we hoped for in this match; the performance was not convincing either in the first half or the second, and we were unable to capitalize on the few chances we had."

He added: "Zakho played in an organized defensive manner, making it difficult for us to reach the goal, but despite that, we hoped to find solutions and achieve victory, especially since the points were very important at this time."

He continued: "We take responsibility as a coaching staff and players, and we must review what happened today and correct the mistakes before the upcoming matches. We know that the competition for the title has become more complicated, but we will not give up and we will fight until the end."

He concluded: "Every upcoming match is a final for us, and we will close the chapter on this draw and prepare with maximum strength for what is to come."
