Haider Obeid: We face Zakho with great ambition and our goal is to maintain the lead

The coach of Al-Zawraa, Haider Obeid, emphasized the importance of the upcoming match against Zakho in the 31st round of the Iraqi Stars League, confirming that the team enters the match with great ambitions to continue their winning streak and maintain the top position amidst strong competition for the title.

He said: "The match against Zakho will not be easy, especially after their coaching staff change, but we are working with high concentration and we enter the match with the ambition of winning only, in order to continue our successful journey in the league."

He continued: "The players are in excellent mental and technical condition, and the collective spirit is strong, which makes us optimistic about presenting a level that befits the name of Al-Zawraa and leads us to achieve the three points."

He clarified: "Zakho is an organized team with good elements, and they have strong motivations following the appointment of coach Abdul Ghani Shahid, so we respect them and will be cautious throughout the minutes of the match."

He added: "We are at a sensitive stage of the season, and every match is like a final, and the players are fully aware of the responsibility placed upon them."
