Ahmed Hassan Attacks Al Ahly Players
Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, confirmed that the level of Al Ahly players in the match against Petrojet, which took place yesterday, Wednesday, was poor.
Al Ahly won against Petrojet with a score of 3-2 in a match that was part of the third round of the decisive phase of the Premier League.
Ahmed Hassan said through "On Sport" channel after the match: "An exciting match, Al Ahly took the lead with two goals in the first half, showing the players' negligence throughout the match; there is something wrong with the players."
He continued: "The red team lacks a spirit of teamwork; you cannot blame Emad Nasr in such matches, but it seems that the Al Ahly players were careless after taking the lead."
He added: "There is a vast difference in financial and fan capabilities between Al Ahly and Petrojet, but that did not reflect in the level of the two teams on the field; rather, Petrojet exhibited more competitiveness in the match."
Ahmed Hassan concluded: "The red players must focus in the coming period, as losing even one point could cost the team the entire championship."
