Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan expressed his deep sadness over the disallowed goal against Barcelona, affirming that he will remember this painful moment for the rest of his life, following the thrilling match that ended in a 3-3 draw at Montjuïc Stadium.

Mkhitaryan said: "I might think about the disallowed goal for the rest of my life. I scored it at a crucial moment when we could have regained the lead, but unfortunately, I was offside by 2 or 3 centimeters."

He added: "Despite that, our heads are held high, and we believe in the possibility of achieving a positive result in the return match at home."

Regarding the team's psychological state before the match, after three consecutive defeats, he said: "We were really going through a tough moment, there is physical exhaustion and mental pressure, especially after exiting the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Milan, and falling behind Napoli in the league table."

He continued: "But in the dressing room, we realize that the season is not over yet, and we have to give everything we have in the remaining matches so that we don't feel regret in the end."

He also spoke about the team's performance and chances of qualifying for the final, saying: "I can't predict what will happen in the return leg, but we know we have a lot to offer, especially in attack and possession."

He concluded his statements: "We know that Barcelona is a very strong team, but we also have quality and determination, and we will prove that at San Siro."
