Al Ahly Approaches Signing Hadi Riyad
Reports revealed this evening that Al Ahly officials are working to finalize the deal for Hadi Riyad, the defender from Petrojet, in the near future to bolster the back line.
According to media personality Khaled El Ghandour: "Hadi Riyad was close to Al Ahly and Zamalek last January, but the player continued with Petrojet."
He added: "Al Ahly is looking to strengthen its defense, so direct negotiations have taken place between Mahmoud El Khatib and the president of Petrojet, similar to the deal of Ahmed Reda who transferred from the petroleum team to the Reds last January."
Al Ahly officials aim to strengthen the team with strong signings before participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled for next June in the United States.
