According to a reliable source from Al-Rabia Sports Channel, the Iraqi Football Federation has finalized the issue of the national team coach, having reached an official agreement with Moroccan Hussein Amouta to lead the Lions of Mesopotamia with a contract lasting one year.

This appointment comes despite Amouta's current commitment to coaching Al-Jazira Club in the UAE, which made negotiations more complicated. However, the Iraqi Federation managed to reach an understanding with the Emirati club regarding this matter. The Moroccan coach is expected to arrive in the capital Baghdad next week to officially finalize his contract and begin his mission with the national team.

In a related context, the President of the Iraqi Federation, Adnan Darjal, left today for the UAE capital Abu Dhabi to complete the final agreement procedures with Amouta, where he held a preliminary meeting with officials from Al-Jazira Club. During the meeting, the majority of the terms were agreed upon, while details regarding the penalty clause and financial aspects will be completed in the coming hours.

With this contract, the Iraqi Federation aims to inject new blood into the national team in preparation for upcoming challenges, relying on Amouta's experience in dealing with major tournaments and Arab teams.
