Pyramids to Face Sundowns in Champions League Final
Pyramids FC has set a fiery date with its counterpart Sundowns from South Africa in the final of the current edition of the African Champions League, after eliminating Orlando Pirates.
Pyramids qualifies for the African Champions League final for the first time in its history, to face Sundowns who reached this stage after eliminating the defending champion, Al Ahly.
Sundowns managed to reach the African final with a last-minute draw against Al Ahly, ending the second leg in Cairo at 1-1, after the first leg ended in a goalless draw in South Africa.
The first and second leg matches of the African Champions League final between Pyramids and Sundowns will be held on May 24 and June 1, respectively.
