Zamalek Member: Registration Ban Will Be Lifted Before the New Season
Amr Adham, a member of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, spoke about the club receiving a letter from FIFA stating the registration ban due to the dues of Moroccan player Khalid Bouhaddouz, a former player of the team.
The board member clarified that Bouhaddouz is owed 983,000 euros, especially since the club has paid a significant amount of his dues, which were estimated to be around 2.4 million euros.
Adham also confirmed in his statements that Zamalek did not pay the remaining installments to the player in recent months, which led to the decision to impose the registration ban again.
He pointed out that Zamalek will settle the player's remaining dues in the upcoming period and before the registration window opens for the new season, and the registration ban will be lifted as soon as the overdue dues to Khalid Bouhaddouz are paid.
