Shobair warns of an upcoming crisis due to the Zamalek and Pyramids match
Media figure Ahmed Shobair believes a crisis will arise due to the Zamalek and Pyramids match in the Egypt Cup final.
Shobair stated in radio comments today, Wednesday: "Pyramids objected to Zamalek playing on May 13 against Pyramids in the league and resting for 7 days before facing Pyramids again in the cup final, and this matter is unacceptable, so they objected."
He added: "The strange thing is that Zamalek is in solidarity with Pyramids in this objection, and they said they want it at the end of the season, but this is the end of the season."
He continued: "Regarding the referee issue, the Football Association had said it would use a foreign referee but then said: an Egyptian referee, and the strange thing is that no one objected. I feel that we are heading towards a crisis due to the Egypt Cup final.
