Former Saudi Football Star Criticizes Wesley Teixeira
Abdulatif, the former Saudi football star, criticized Wesley Teixeira, a player for Al-Nassr, confirming that he has limited capabilities.
Wesley participated with Al-Nassr yesterday, Tuesday, in the match against Damak in the 29th round of the Saudi league, which ended with a 3-2 victory for the team.
Abdulatif stated in television remarks that Wesley has not added anything to his team and that there are others more deserving of participation.
He added: "Wesley will not be an addition, and it is difficult to place hopes on him for solutions. This is a tough matter."
He continued: "Even if he is a young player, a rookie aged 17 or younger shows his technical touches. Perhaps Pioli, the coach of Al-Nassr, is considering Wesley's participation in anticipation of injuries to some players or similar reasons, so I believe Abdulrahman Ghareeb deserves the opportunity more."
