Saudi Al-Hilal Makes Huge Offer to Sign Raphinha
Reports have revealed that Saudi Al-Hilal has entered the race to contract with Brazilian star Raphinha, the winger of FC Barcelona, with a huge financial offer aimed at convincing him to move to the Saudi league next summer.
According to what was published by "Sport" newspaper, Al-Hilal offered Raphinha a contract for 4 years until 2029, with a total value of 200 million dollars, which is 50 million dollars annually, in addition to an official offer to FC Barcelona worth 100 million euros for the player's release.
Despite this enticing offer, sources indicate that Raphinha's current desire is to continue at Barcelona, especially after he has become one of the key pillars of the team, having previously rejected Saudi offers in the summer of 2024 after being convinced by coach Hans Flick to stay.
The player, whose contract ends in 2027, is waiting for FC Barcelona's management to improve his salary and extend his contract for a longer period, feeling undervalued financially compared to his performance.
Although Barcelona is keen to keep the Brazilian star, the Catalan management does not rule out selling one of the team's stars this summer to ease financial burdens, and Al-Hilal's offer could be a golden opportunity in this context.
It is worth mentioning that major clubs in the English Premier League such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool have also shown interest in signing Raphinha, but they realize that the player currently prefers to stay with Barcelona.
