Al-Mundhir Al-Alawi: We Delivered a Great and Tough Match and Deserved the Victory

Following the precious victory achieved by Al-Zawraa Club over Al-Shorta with a goal to nil in the 29th round of the Iraqi Stars League, Omani star Al-Mundhir Al-Alawi expressed his great happiness with the team's collective performance and the victory that granted Al-Zawraa the top of the standings.

In press statements after the match, Al-Alawi said:

He stated: "Thank God for the victory, we faced a strong opponent with distinguished players, but we were up to the responsibility and achieved what was required."

He added: "The victory today was not easy, especially in light of the great pressures that preceded the match, but we dealt with high concentration on the field."
