CAF Reveals Referees for Pyramids vs Orlando Pirates Match

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the names of the referees for the match between Pyramids and South Africa's Orlando Pirates in the return leg of the semi-final round of the African Champions League, scheduled for nine o'clock next Friday at the Air Defense Stadium.

The match will be officiated by Gabonese referee Patrice Mbiami, assisted by Cameroon’s Alves Nouibi as the first assistant, Gabon's Boris Destouga as the second assistant, and Tanzania's Ahmed Ali as the fourth official.

The match will be monitored by Bushra Mamoun from Sudan, with general coordinator Victor Lawal from South Sudan, referee observer Kwadwo Boro from Ivory Coast, media coordinator Abdul Malik Abu Bakari from Niger, and security coordinator Evans Ocharo from Kenya.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be Pierre Acher from Gabon, assisted by Kenya’s Stephen Onyango, and general coordinator assistant Emsit Flan from Liberia.

It is noteworthy that Pyramids drew away from home without goals against Orlando Pirates in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final held at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg.
