Kohler Emphasizes Key Aspects During Al Ahly Training
Media figure Khaled El Ghandour stated during his program "Stadium Al Mehwar" that Marcel Kohler, the coach of Al Ahly, has been training the players on several technical situations on the field in preparation for the match against Sundowns.
Al Ahly will face Sundowns tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
El Ghandour continued: "Kohler emphasized the importance of free kicks and corner kicks, which are considered the biggest weaknesses of the Sundowns team."
He added: "On the other hand, Kohler stressed the importance of focusing on positioning on the field in defensive situations due to Sundowns' strategy of consolidating play on one flank and suddenly switching the play to the other flank to exploit defensive errors."
