Koller: Our Goal is to Qualify for the Champions League Final
Marcel Koller, the coach of Al Ahly, expressed his happiness with his team's presence in the semifinals of the CAF Champions League, confirming that his goal is to qualify for the final.
Al Ahly will face Mamelodi Sundowns tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the semifinals of the CAF Champions League.
Koller added during the pre-match press conference: "The match will not be easy against a strong opponent, which is well-known in the semifinals. We have seen the results leading up to this stage, which confirm the strength of the competition and the closeness of the levels, and our goal is certainly to qualify for the final."
He continued: "Al Ahly has reached the semifinals and is competing strongly for all titles. The players have experience and have previously played in South Africa. Football is a team game, and we continuously discuss this crucial stage within the team's framework."
Koller confirmed: "Our focus is solely on the match and the appropriate preparation for it, and we have a group of outstanding players."
He emphasized that the players are in a state of intense focus and have a sense of responsibility to compete for the title and bring joy to the fans.
