Sundowns' Stance on Facing Al Ahly
Miguel Cardoso, the coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, spoke about the latest developments regarding the medical condition of his injured players and their status for the match against Al Ahly.
Al Ahly will face Sundowns next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
Cardoso stated in comments reported by "IDiski Times": "Thembi Zwaney is still under close observation regarding the injury he is currently suffering from, and a final decision about his participation is expected to be made after the last training session tomorrow, Friday."
He added: "We have Lebo Mothiba, who is still in the process of integrating with the team for some time."
He continued: "Siabonga Mabena is also experiencing some pain, but he is in the recovery phase. Therefore, we will receive more detailed information tomorrow regarding who will not be fully ready to participate in the match against Al Ahly."
He concluded: "We must ensure everyone is available for the match against Al Ahly, so we do not postpone this phase to the second leg of the semi-finals."
