Khaled El Ghandour, the former Zamalek star, stated that Marcel Koller, the coach of Al Ahly, has not yet decided on the left-back for the upcoming Sundowns match.
Al Ahly will face Mamelodi Sundowns next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
El Ghandour continued on the "Stadium Al-Maḥwar" program: "Al Ahly is suffering from the absence of duo Yahiya Attia Allah and Karim Al-Dabis due to injury, and Ali Maaloul for technical reasons."
He added: "Koller is considering the trio Omar Kamel Abdel Wahid, Mustafa Al-Ash, and Ahmed Koka to start as a main player in Al Ahly's lineup."
He concluded: "Koller is focusing on the trio in training and has given them specific instructions in today's practice, and he is awaiting to finalize his decision in the training session on Friday before the match, which kicks off on Saturday afternoon."
