Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Inter Milan, expressed his happiness at qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals at the expense of his rival Bayern Munich, after winning 4-3 on aggregate over the two matches.

Inzaghi said: "It was a wonderful night, and our fans helped us a lot against a very strong opponent. Bayern Munich played two great matches, but we were a team that wanted to qualify at any cost, and we succeeded in delivering a great performance."

He continued: "Keeping our nerves calm was very important, especially after conceding a goal from Bayern at an unexpected time. Our response was quick, and that was the secret of our success."

He added: "In the final moments of the match, with players like Gnabry and Coman, Bayern put us under a lot of pressure, but we maintained our focus and composure throughout the match."

He continued: "It’s good that we avoided yellow cards in this match, because if some players had received them, we would have missed them in the match against Barcelona."

Inzaghi praised the team's ability to adapt to the intense schedule amid injuries, saying: "We hope to recover all injured players soon. It’s tough to play every 48-72 hours, but we have the team spirit that allows us to keep going."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "We are proud of what we have achieved so far, and we want to continue our journey in the tournament. The match against Barcelona will be difficult, but we are ready for the challenge."
