The Italian club Inter Milan successfully secured a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after drawing 2-2 with German side Bayern Munich in an exciting match held this evening as part of the quarter-final second leg of the continental competition.

Bayern Munich opened the scoring through English star Harry Kane in the 52nd minute, after a first half that ended in a goalless draw. However, Inter Milan responded quickly, with Lautaro Martinez equalizing in the 58th minute.

Only three minutes later, Inter scored their second goal through Benjamin Pavard, who rose to head in a powerful shot from a perfectly executed corner taken by Turkish player Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the 61st minute.

Bayern Munich refused to give up and managed to level the score in the 76th minute through defender Eric Dier, bringing hope back to the Bavarian team, but time did not allow them to achieve a third goal.

With this result, Inter Milan guarantees their qualification to the semi-finals, benefiting from their victory in the first leg, which ended 2-1, thus securing a passage with an aggregate score of 4-3.

Inter Milan is expected to face Spanish club Barcelona in the semi-finals, who also qualified at the expense of German side Borussia Dortmund.
