The source mentioned, according to Saudi newspapers, that he is following the ongoing discussions regarding Gomes' departure from Al-Fateh to Al-Ahly in the near future.
He stated: "We have no information about Al-Ahly's negotiations with Gomes, and the coach has not spoken to us about this matter."
It is worth mentioning that media reports indicated that Gomes, the former Zamalek coach and current Al-Fateh coach, is one of the top candidates to coach Al-Ahly.
