Al-Fateh Reclaims All Its Weapons to Face Al-Ittihad in Round 28
Tuesday 15-04-2025
In the city of Al-Ahsa, amidst stands ignited with enthusiasm, Al-Fateh is preparing to host Al-Ittihad in a match that could rearrange the top positions, under the guidance of a coach who knows how to unsettle the giants, while Al-Ittihad seeks to confirm its right to the awaited title.

Al-Ittihad enters the match at the top of the standings with 65 points, leading by 7 points over Al-Hilal and 8 over Al-Nassr.

Al-Fateh holds 26 points in 14th place and hopes that its Portuguese coach, José Gomes, can keep them away from danger zones.

The Portuguese coach has previously unsettled Al-Ittihad, achieving 3 victories and 3 draws in 10 previous encounters.

Al-Ittihad has dropped 15 points against Gomes, more than any other team, followed by Al-Ahli with 12 points, and then Al-Nassr with 5 points.

Gomes' first victory over Al-Ittihad was in the 2014-15 season with a score of 4-3, and he repeated the win twice later, notably 5-2 with Al-Taawoun.

During his third term with Al-Taawoun, Gomes managed to draw both home and away against Al-Ittihad, losing only to them in the King's Cup.

The match will take place on Thursday evening, April 17, at Prince Abdullah bin Jiluwi Stadium, as part of Round 28 of the Roshan Saudi League.

Al-Ittihad enters the match with high morale after their recent victory over Al-Urouba, while Al-Fateh crushed Al-Khaleej 5-1 in the last round.

Will Al-Ittihad succeed in closing in on the title, or will Gomes continue his surprises and disrupt the leader? The answer lies in the stadium of Al-Ahsa.
