Referee Report on Real Madrid vs Alaves Match Regarding Mbappe's Red Card

A Spanish media report revealed the referee's report on the Real Madrid vs Alaves match regarding the red card issued to French star Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe was sent off in the 37th minute after a violent tackle on Antonio Blanco, before the referee resorted to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to review the incident, leading to his decision to expel him from the match.

The referee wrote in his report: "In the 38th minute, Kylian Mbappe, number (9), was sent off after stepping on the opponent's leg during a challenge for the ball, using excessive force."

Mbappe faces the prospect of suspension for a period ranging from 2 to 12 matches, noting that if he is penalized with a suspension of more than 3 matches, the penalty will also apply in the Copa del Rey.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Mbappe will not miss the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona on April 26, despite the referee's report and the possibility of a lengthy suspension.
