Italian Referee to Officiate Barcelona vs Dortmund Match
UEFA has revealed the referee for the match between Barcelona and their counterpart Dortmund, scheduled for Tuesday in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
UEFA has appointed Italian referee Maurizio Mariani to officiate the match, while Marco Di Bello will serve as the video assistant referee.
This will be the first match that the Italian referee officiates for Barcelona, while he has only officiated one match for Borussia Dortmund during the 2022/2023 season, which ended in a 4-1 victory for Dortmund over Sevilla.
It is worth noting that the first leg ended with Barcelona winning 4-0 at the Montjuïc Stadium.
