Media personality Ibrahim Abdel Jawad confirmed that there is intense competition between Zamalek and Pyramids to sign Mohamed Sherif, the star of Al-Khaleej Club in Saudi Arabia.
Ibrahim Abdel Jawad stated during his program on "On Sport" channel: "Mohamed Sherif's top priority is to stay with Al Ahly, but so far no officials from the red club have contacted him."
He added: "There have been communications from Zamalek to Mohamed Sherif to acquire the player's services, and there are also offers from Pyramids, with both clubs eager to sign him."
He continued: "Mohamed Sherif has not expressed his future destination yet and is postponing any decisions regarding the offers until it is confirmed that Al Ahly does not need his services."
