A severe financial crisis threatens the future of Ziad Al-Sahfi, and the disciplinary decision is pushing him to an unexpected crossroads.

The Disciplinary Committee has obligated Ziad Al-Sahfi to pay 3.5 million riyals to Al-Ittihad within just 30 days.

In addition to the principal amount, an additional fine of 20,000 riyals has been imposed to be paid to the Saudi Football Federation.

The crisis began with a dispute over old dues between Al-Sahfi and Al-Ittihad, which terminated his contract in the summer of 2024.

The legal battle ended with a ruling issued by the Dispute Resolution Chamber, which was upheld by the Sports Arbitration Center.

Media personality Gharim Al-Amri stated that Al-Sahfi may be forced to sell his family home to pay the fine or retire from football.
