The media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed a big surprise regarding the Al Ahly vs. Sundowns match in the semifinals of the African Champions League.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "The people who were mocking Ben Taïg for not traveling to South Africa, I would like to tell you that Gradi Shar, Ben Cherki, Dari, and Atiyah Allah are in the same situation, and the South African embassy is asking for residency and work contracts to issue the visa and is threatening not to allow them to travel."
Al Ahly managed to qualify for the semifinals of the Champions League after defeating Al Hilal Sudanese in the two-legged quarterfinals with a total score of 2-0.
Meanwhile, the South African Sundowns qualified for the semifinals after overcoming the Tunisian Esperance with a narrow 1-0 victory in the first leg and a goalless draw in the return leg.
