Flick: We Haven't Qualified Yet, and This is Yamal's Situation
Barcelona coach Hans Flick appeared in a press statement after the 4-0 victory over Dortmund in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, held at Montjuïc.
The coach said: "What matters more, the way of winning or the result? Both are important, we played well, and when you play this way, you score goals."
He added: "Have you secured qualification? Not yet. No one knows what will happen; football is a crazy sport. We need to play as we did today. We do what we know."
He continued: "Are you happy with Lamine, Lewandowski, and Raphinha? They are extremely important, and when we look at the defense, we see how much the substitutes impact it. This is important given the number of matches."
Regarding the substitution of Lamine Yamal: "I saw that he played many minutes and needs more rest; physically, he is fine."
He concluded: "As for Ansu's participation? For Ansu, it's important to get minutes, he trains well, and he deserved to play today."
