Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the star of Zamalek, confirmed in an official statement that he has not signed with any club following rumors about his signing with the red team.

Zizo said in an official statement on Instagram: "Thank God, I am a man who respects everyone, but unfortunately, my silence and not responding to false information has gone too far. Every hour, there is news about Zizo signing or renewing a contract, and everyone is flirting with the audience segment they want. Clearly, I have not signed with any club, whether inside or outside Egypt. Whoever claims to have my signature is welcome to announce it if their words are true."

He continued: "No one has mentioned that God Almighty has blessed me with offers that are ten times the current financial offer. Despite all this, I said I will wait for the club's word, and there are many considerations to be taken into account. The fans need to know the truth. Zizo does not exaggerate or trade, but the other party must want me to continue, and there should be a response to the matters presented to me at least. Unfortunately, what is said to me is one thing, and what is said in the media is another. What is discussed in meetings should not be said outside, at least from my side. I am waiting for the club's response until the last day of the Confederation Cup, and any talk about renewal or signing before this date will be incorrect."

He concluded: "My very friendly message to the officials at Zamalek, whom I respect all, is that I hope the dialogue regarding the contract renewal will be between me and you, not through the media. I have been and still am clear with you about all the just matters that help us continue the journey. Thank you for understanding my position."
