Manchester United Announces Its Preparations for the New Season
Manchester United has officially announced that it will play two friendly matches in Malaysia and Hong Kong, following the end of the 2024/2025 Premier League season, as part of the team's preparations for the new season.
The team, led by coach Ruben Amorim, will face the ASEAN Stars team on May 28 in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, just three days after its last Premier League match against Aston Villa on May 25.
Manchester United will also play another friendly match on May 30 against a selection of teams from Hong Kong, as part of the same Asian tour.
After the Asian tour, Manchester United will head to the United States in July for a series of friendly matches as part of its preparations for the 2025/2026 season.
The club's executive director commented, saying: "Preparatory tours and friendly matches contribute to enhancing the club's financial resources and give us the ability to continuously invest in achieving success on the pitch."
