Al-Hilal Decides to Retain Jesus
The Saudi Al-Hilal club has settled on the continuation of Brazilian coach Jorge Jesus in leading the team in the upcoming period.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh", the Al-Hilal administration decided not to dismiss Jesus and to continue his role as head coach after a meeting held between the administration and the coach on Sunday evening.
The source added that Jesus will lead the team in the Asian Elite Championship.
The newspaper indicated that Al-Hilal preferred to retain Jesus because the club believes that the available options to replace the Brazilian coach are limited in the middle of the season.
The newspaper concluded that Jesus denied during a meeting with the Al-Hilal administration any negotiations with the Brazilian Football Confederation to take over the national team.
