Several Qatari clubs are seeking to sign Croatian Luka Modric, the Real Madrid midfielder, during the upcoming summer transfer window; however, the player remains committed to continuing within the walls of Santiago Bernabeu.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Modric prioritizes retiring in a Real Madrid jersey and wishes to remain with the team until the 2026 World Cup with the Croatian national team, which led him to reject lucrative offers from the Saudi league last summer.

So far, there has been no official communication between the club and the player regarding contract renewal, but the current situation closely resembles last season's scenario, which ended with the renewal of his contract for an additional season.

According to reports, the deal does not require complicated negotiations between club president Florentino Perez and Luka Modric, as a meeting between the two parties is expected to take place in the coming days to finalize the decision.

Despite the team's recent poor results, especially after the defeat against Valencia, Modric remains a reliable element for coach Carlo Ancelotti, who relies on him in difficult times due to his consistent performance and vast experience.
