Gavi Talks About the Draw and Coach's Confidence After the Match
Barcelona star Gavi appeared in press statements following the 1-1 draw against Betis in the 30th round of La Liga, at the Montjuïc stadium.
The player said: "I am fully aware of the amount of confidence that Flick gives me; and I don’t care what people say."
He added: "If we had won, we would have strengthened our lead, but this is football. We feel bitterness from the draw because we couldn't capitalize on the opportunities that were presented to us."
He continued: "Conceding a goal from a corner really bothers us. We have been good at set pieces throughout the season, and we conceded a goal that could have been avoided. We need to improve in this aspect."
Regarding his celebration with the coach after his goal, he said: "Definitely. I know exactly how much confidence Flick gives me, and I don’t care what is said. I feel the confidence of the coach and the team, and I am very happy."
