Sheikh: Al-Nassr Missed Out on a Historic Victory

Mohammed Al-Sheikh, former Director of Media at the Saudi Football Federation, believes that Al-Nassr could have won by a larger margin than the one they achieved against Al-Hilal yesterday, Friday.

Al-Nassr won against Al-Hilal with a score of 3-1 yesterday, Friday, in a match within the framework of the 26th round of the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Sheikh said during the "Action with Walid" program: "Congratulations to Al-Nassr and better luck to Al-Hilal. The global team missed out on a historic result and was settling some of its heavy debts with the leader. The match could have ended with a score of 6 goals in favor of Al-Nassr."

He criticized the performance of Jorge Jesus, the Al-Hilal coach, saying: "The tactical errors of the Portuguese coach cost the team a heavy defeat, while Al-Nassr succeeded in implementing their plan based on high pressing, quick transitions, and long balls effectively."

He explained: "All the pillars of the global team were in their best form, including the local players, but on the other hand, we did not find Mohammed Kanno, Salem Al-Dosari, and Hamad Al-Yami able to make a difference with the leader."

He continued: "Al-Nassr was capable of scoring even until the last minute, so everything that was positive for Al-Nassr was negative for Al-Hilal."
