Hamza Alaa, the goalkeeper of Al Ahly club, revealed the truth about his alleged refusal to meet with the club's officials to discuss the renewal of his contract after entering the free period.
It is worth mentioning that Hamza Alaa's contract ends at the end of the current season, and his name has been linked to negotiations with Zamalek and Pyramids in the past period.
In a message to Al Ahly fans, Hamza Alaa wrote: "I want to clarify an important matter regarding what has been said about my future recently; it is not true that I refused to meet with the club's management."
He added: "I respect Al Ahly's officials, and I have never delayed any meeting. I am available to talk at any time, and the club's place is significant to me."
He continued: "I am proud to wear the Al Ahly jersey, and I feel the support of its fans, who are a great motivation for me, and I will never forget their support."
He concluded his message by saying: "I can never make a mistake regarding the entity or its fans."
