Gonzalez: We Care About Winning Against Al-Ettifaq
Miguel Gonzalez, the coach of Al-Qadsiah, spoke about the anticipated match against Al-Ettifaq tomorrow, Saturday, in the 26th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Gonzalez indicated during the pre-match press conference that his team has an additional motivation to win, which is qualifying for the King’s Cup final after their victory over Al-Raed (1-0) in the semi-finals.
He continued: "Whether we win against Al-Ettifaq or any other team, it won’t mean anything if we regress in the future... I see that my players have the desire and enthusiasm to continue the journey."
He added: "We care about winning and advancing to third place again in the league, and we cannot create excuses about physical pressure after two days from the cup match."
