Belgian international and Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne has announced his departure from the English club at the end of the current season, following the expiration of his contract.
De Bruyne said: "Upon seeing this, you might realize where this is heading. So, I will get straight to the point and tell everyone that these will be my last months as a player at Manchester City."
He added: "It's not easy to write anything about this matter, but as football players, we all know that day will eventually come."
He continued: "The day of departure has come, and you deserve to hear this from me first."
He concluded: "Football has brought me to all of you and to this city, in pursuit of my dream, not knowing that this period would change my life. This city. This club. These people, have given me everything."
